A weak elongated ridge just north of the coastal waters drift northward as high pressure redevelops north of the state this weekend. Winds are expected to gradually restrengthen tonight allowing moderate to locally strong trade winds to build back across the waters through the forecast period. $$ Hawaiian waters within 40 nautical miles including the channels- .TODAY...Northeast to east winds up to 10 knots around Oahu and Kauai waters. Elsewhere, east winds 10 to 20 knots. Seas 3 to 5 feet. Wave Detail: South 3 to 4 feet at 14 seconds. North northwest 4 feet at 9 seconds, east southeast 3 feet at 6 seconds. .TONIGHT...East northeast winds 15 to 25 knots. Seas 4 to 6 feet. Wave Detail: East 3 feet at 5 seconds, north northwest 3 feet at 9 seconds and south 3 to 4 feet at 18 seconds. .SUNDAY AND MONDAY...East northeast winds 15 to 25 knots. Seas 4 to 6 feet.
