...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM PDT TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Overnight lows in the low 70s.

* WHERE...A portion of central California.

* WHEN...Until 11 AM PDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
  extreme heat.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Little relief is expected from the heat
  during the overnight hours into Tuesday morning, and the heat risk
  will remain moderate to high during these hours. Minimum
  temperatures in Fresno and Bakersfield will remain in the mid to
  upper 70`s.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car
interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.
