...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM SATURDAY TO 11 AM PDT
MONDAY...

* WHAT...High temperatures of 102 to 108 degrees. Moderate to high
  heat risk is expected which will impact much of the population and
  those sensitive to the heat.

* WHERE...A portion of central California.

* WHEN...From 11 AM Saturday to 11 AM PDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
  extreme heat.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Little relief is expected from the heat
  during the overnight hours this weekend into Monday morning, and
  the heat risk will remain moderate to high during these hours.
  Minimum temperatures in Fresno and Bakersfield will remain in the
  mid to upper 70`s.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car
interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.
