There are numerous roads in the warned area closed and impassable due to flood waters. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1112 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing in the warned area. Between 1 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 inch is possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Mcpherson, Lindsborg, Hillsboro, Marion, Moundridge, Inman, Peabody, Galva, Canton, Florence, Marquette, Goessel, Burns, Lincolnville, Ramona, Lehigh, Windom, Durham, Tampa and Lost Springs. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don`t drown.
