This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Heat indices around 100 degrees will continue this afternoon across
portions of central and south central Kansas.

An isolated shower or thunderstorm is possible across south central
Kansas this evening and across central Kansas tonight. Widespread
severe weather is not expected, although the strongest storm may
produce 60 mph wind gusts and brief heavy rain.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Heat indices will range from the upper 90s to near 100 degrees
Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday.

Strong south wind gusts of 35 to 45 mph are expected across
portions of central Kansas and south central Kansas Monday and
Tuesday.

Intermittent storms are possible Tuesday through Saturday. A few
storms on Tuesday may be severe across central Kansas. Locally
heavy rainfall will be possible.

Spotter activation is not anticipated this afternoon or tonight.
