This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Scattered storms will continue this morning across eastern Kansas.
A strong storm cannot be ruled out with dime sized hail and wind
gusts up to 50 mph. Heavy rainfall will be the main risk from these
storms.

Heat indices of 100 to 104 degrees are possible across portions of
central and south central Kansas today.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Heat indices will range from the upper 90s to near 100 degrees
Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday.

Strong south wind gusts of 35 to 45 mph will be possible across
portions of central Kansas and south central Kansas Monday and
Tuesday.

Intermittent storms are possible Tuesday through Saturday. A few
storms on Tuesday may be severe across central Kansas. Locally
heavy
rainfall will be possible.
