Temperatures this morning are starting off in the 60s and 70s
across the central plains. A few isolated showers have developed
across portions of southern and eastern Kansas into portions of
western Missouri. Only very light rainfall amounts are expected
from this activity. This afternoon, temperatures will rise into
the low to mid 90s, and additional low chances of isolated
showers and storms are possible this afternoon, although coverage
will be sparse. For tonight, lows across the region will only dip
into the 70s.

For Saturday, a weak frontal boundary will sag into portions of
Kansas and Missouri, but most of the region will still rise into
the mid to upper 90s. A few thunderstorms are forecast to develop
along this frontal boundary, mainly across eastern Kansas into
Missouri during the afternoon and evening hours. Rain chances will
gradually come to an end Saturday night, and lows across the
region will range from the mid 60s to the mid 70s.
