Widespread showers with isolated embedded thunderstorms continue
this morning across much of southern and eastern Kansas as well as
portions of western Missouri. Also, a cold front is progressing
across the central plains causing this morning`s temperatures to
range from the 40s across northern and western Nebraska to the 70s
across southeast Kansas and southern Missouri. Rain chances will
continue across portions of Kansas, Missouri, and perhaps some
locations across southern Nebraska and southern Iowa for much of
the day. This afternoon`s highs will generally be in the 60s
across much of the central plains; however, portions of southeast
Kansas and southern Missouri could see temperatures briefly rise
into the 80s. For tonight, rain chances should generally be
confined to southeast Kansas and southern Missouri with overnight
lows ranging from the upper 30s across eastern Colorado and
western Nebraska to the upper 50s across southeast Kansas and
southern Missouri.

Despite some lingering showers across eastern Kansas and much of
Missouri on Monday, the central plains will generally see drier
conditions. Monday afternoons highs will be in the 60s and low 70s
while Monday night`s lows will be in the 40s and 50s.
