It was a rather warm to hot day this afternoon as temperatures
soared into the low 100s over northwest Kansas and in the 90s for

western Nebraska and eastern Colorado to the mid 70s in southeast
Kansas. Skies will be mostly clear to partly cloud.

100 to 110 degrees across the region. Heat advisories have been
hoisted across parts of Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri and
Arkansas. Expect highs temperatures across Kansas to reach near
100 to 105 degrees under mainly full sun. Winds will be southerly
with gusts 15 to 20 mph.
