Showers and storms are continuing this morning across portions of
eastern Kansas and western Missouri early this morning. This
activity is expected to gradually diminish later this morning as
it moves eastward. Temperatures this morning are starting off
ranging from the mid 50s across western Nebraska to the mid 70s
across much of eastern Kansas and western Missouri. By this
afternoon, temperatures will generally range from the low 70s
across the High Plains to the upper 90s across southeast Kansas
and southwest Missouri. Chances for thunderstorms will increase
this afternoon across much of Mid-America, and these storm chances
are expected to last through much of tonight into Sunday morning.
Lows tonight will range from the mid 40s across the High Plains to
the low 70s across southern Missouri.

For Sunday, rain chances will gradually decrease throughout the
day, and generally come to an end during the evening and nighttime
hours across the region. A cold front will lead to much cooler
afternoon conditions with temperatures ranging from the low 50s
across much of Nebraska and western Kansas to the mid 80s across
far southeast Kansas and southern Missouri. Sunday night`s lows
will range from the mid 30s across the High Plains to the upper
50s across southeast Kansas and southern Missouri.
