...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHERN CHASE AND NORTHERN
MARION COUNTIES THROUGH 515 AM CDT...

At 443 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Dunlap to Carlton. Movement was south at
50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Hillsboro, Marion, Cottonwood Falls, Strong City, Lincolnville,
Ramona, Tampa, Durham, Bazaar, Lost Springs, Elmdale, Hymer, Marion
Lake, Tallgrass Prairie, Pilsen, Saffordville, and Tallgrass Prairie
Preserve.

This includes Interstate 35 between Mile Markers 110 and 115.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 AM CDT for
central and east central Kansas.
