...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT WOODSON AND CENTRAL GREENWOOD
COUNTIES THROUGH 600 AM CDT...

At 530 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 5 miles southeast of Gridley to 6 miles
southeast of Hamilton to 17 miles east of Burns. Movement was
southeast at 65 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Eureka, Yates Center, Toronto, Hamilton, Neosho Falls, Virgil, Eureka
City Lake, Eureka Airport, Thrall, Batesville, Toronto Lake, Rose,
and Cross Timbers State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 AM CDT for
south central and southeastern Kansas.
