Fire Weather Planning Forecast
for Northeast South Carolina and Southeast North Carolina
National Weather Service Wilmington NC
308 PM EDT Sat Jun 29 2024

.DISCUSSION...
Hot and humid weather will continue through the weekend as
Bermuda high pressure controls our weather. Heat indices on
Sunday should peak between 105 and 109 degrees. An approaching
cold front will bring much better chances of showers and
thunderstorms late Sunday into Monday. After drier and cooler
weather Tuesday and Wednesday, the heat will start to return
Thursday with humidity soon to follow.

Fog potential for tonight is Low.
