At 601 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near West College Corner to 6 miles southeast of
Brookville to 6 miles southwest of Batesville, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Public.

IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.

Locations impacted include...
Hamilton, Oxford, Harrison, Batesville, Lawrenceburg, Greendale,
Brookville, Bright, Hidden Valley, Ross, Cleves, Liberty, Milan, West
College Corner, Oldenburg, Shawnee, Moores Hill, Taylor Creek, Blue
Jay, and Darrtown.

This includes the following Interstates...
 I-74 in Indiana between mile markers 145 and 171.
 I-74 in Ohio between mile markers 0 and 9.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature`s leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
