Heat index readings will once again approach 100 degrees on Saturday. A cold front will bring a round of thunderstorms into the area late Saturday afternoon and evening. A few of the storms could become strong to severe...with damaging wind gusts being the primary risk. Thunderstorm chances will return by Tuesday as another cold front drops into the region.
