This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Illinois and west
central Illinois.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Afternoon heat index readings will peak in the upper 90s to around
100 degrees.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Heat index readings will once again approach 100 degrees on
Saturday.

A cold front will bring a round of thunderstorms into the area late
Saturday afternoon and evening. A few of the storms could become
strong to severe...with damaging wind gusts being the primary risk.

Thunderstorm chances will return by Tuesday as another cold front
drops into the region. Predictability is too low to determine the
threat for severe weather.

Spotter activation is not anticipated through tonight.

Heat index readings will once again approach 100 degrees on
Saturday.

A cold front will trigger scattered thunderstorms Saturday evening
into Saturday night. Severe weather is not expected.

Thunderstorm chances will return by Tuesday as another cold front
drops into the region. Predictability is too low to determine the
threat for severe weather.
