...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN CHRISTIAN AND CENTRAL
SHELBY COUNTIES THROUGH 515 PM CDT...

At 447 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Taylorville, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Taylorville, Pana, Shelbyville, Assumption, Findlay, Tower Hill,
Owaneco, Rosamond, Palmer, Lakewood, Westervelt, Taylorville
Municipal Airport, and Langleyville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for
central Illinois.
