...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL CAMDEN AND CENTRAL
GLYNN COUNTIES THROUGH 315 PM EDT...

At 241 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Dock Junction, moving south at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 45 to 55 mph, penny size hail, excessive
         cloud-to-ground lightning, and minor flooding due to heavy
         rainfall.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible. Minor flooding due to heavy rainfall is possible.
         Excessive cloud-to-ground lightning is occurring.

Locations impacted include...
Brunswick, St. Simons Island, Dock Junction, St Simons Island
Village, Country Club Estates, Sea Island, and Boys Estate.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
