...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT COFFEE...ECHOLS...ATKINSON AND
CLINCH COUNTIES THROUGH 430 PM EDT...

At 347 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Willacoochee to near Statenville. Movement
was northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 45 to 55 mph, half inch hail, and minor
         flooding due to heavy rainfall.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible. Minor flooding due to heavy rainfall is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Douglas, Homerville, Pearson, Willacoochee, Broxton, Ambrose, Argyle,
Statenville, Du Pont, and Mayday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
