...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN COFFEE...NORTHERN
WARE...WESTERN BACON...EASTERN JEFF DAVIS AND NORTHWESTERN APPLING
COUNTIES THROUGH 615 PM EDT...

At 546 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles northwest of Alma, moving northwest at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts around 40 mph and minor flooding due to heavy
         rainfall.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor flooding due to heavy rainfall is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Alma, Graham, Nicholls, West Green, Bickley, and Pine Grove.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
