Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
445 AM EDT Fri Jun 14 2024

.DISCUSSION...A weak cold front will slowly approach the region
this afternoon and bring increased chances of showers and
thunderstorms. Precipitation will taper off toward sunset before
surface high pressure begins to nudge in from the southwest.
High pressure will keep the area dry through the weekend into
early next week. The high will shift to the northeast for Monday
and bring increased moisture to the region and will allow for
disorganized afternoon showers and thunderstorms.
