...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN HARLAN...BELL...KNOX
AND EASTERN WHITLEY COUNTIES THROUGH 1145 PM EDT...

At 1056 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms over Siler, or 10 miles east of Williamsburg, moving
east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Barbourville, Harlan, Pineville, Middlesboro, Loyall, Wallins Creek,
Julip, Bledsoe, Varilla, Swan Lake, Coldiron, Ponza, Black Snake,
Gausdale, Erose, Blanche, Cubage, Rella, Dixie, and Wasioto.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
