...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 700 PM EDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN LAUREL...NORTHWESTERN KNOX AND NORTH CENTRAL WHITLEY
COUNTIES...

At 650 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Gibbs, or 10
miles north of Barbourville, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southeastern Laurel, northwestern Knox and north central Whitley
Counties, including the following locations... Brock.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
