Through 0500 AM, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will
build across the Florida Straits, Hawk Channel, nearshore gulfside
waters, and the Florida Keys. The clusters of showers are moving west
at about 10 to 15 mph. Strongest showers are currently located south
of Wood`s Wall and are capable of generating stray lightning
strikes, wind gusts of 25 to 30 mph, and reduced visibility during
moderate to heavy downpours. Island communities could see rainfall
accumulations of a tenth to a quarter of an inch.
