Through 130 am, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will
move west northwest at 15 to 20 knots from the Florida Straits and
Hawk Channel through parts of the Middle and Lower Keys and into the
Gulf side waters. The stronger activity will produce wind gusts near
30 knots, blinding downpours, and frequent lightning strikes. On
land, many areas from Long Key to Key West will see rainfall amounts
from one tenth up to one half inch, along with wind gusts around
30 mph, as the showers and storms move through.
