Through 630 pm, isolated showers will continue to develop in the distant Straits of Florida south of the Marathon Humps and southwest of the Lower Keys. These showers will move to the northwest at 15 to 20 knots and mariners encountering this activity can expect wind gusts near 25 knots, moderate to heavy rainfall that will reduce visibilities below 3 miles, and possibly a rare lightning strike. $$ NB
