Through 430 am, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will
wax and wane across the offshore Gulf waters northwest of the Lower
Keys. Movement of this activity will be somewhat chaotic, but
generally to the north to northeast at 5 to 10 knots. Mariners
encountering the strongest of this activity in the vicinity of S
Tower can expect heavy downpours reducing visibility, wind gusts
near 20 knots, and a few cloud to surface lightning strikes.
