Considerable cloud coverage was seen overnight. Low temperatures
dropped into the 50s over the Nebraska panhandle and northwest
with readings ranging into the 60s to the southeast.

Today the chance for showers and thunderstorms continue as a warm
front will extend east across central Nebraska from near Sydney to
Bartlett. The front will be a focus for storm development with
a slight risk for severe thunderstorms across the Panhandle and
north today and tonight. A marginal risk for severe storms extends
over much of the remainder of the forecast area. High temperatures
will range from the middle 70s north to near 90 degrees in the far
southwest.
