...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN CHERRY...
SOUTHWESTERN BROWN AND NORTHWESTERN BLAINE COUNTIES THROUGH 700 PM
CDT...

At 618 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Elsmere, or 20 miles northwest of Brewster, moving south at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Elsmere, Hawley Flats, Willow Lake State Wildlife Management Area,
and Koshopah.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
north central Nebraska.
