KEITH...BROWN...BLAINE AND SOUTHWESTERN KEYA PAHA COUNTIES THROUGH
215 AM CDT/115 AM MDT/...

At 125 AM CDT/1225 AM MDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 10 miles north of Valentine
National Wildlife Refuge to 9 miles southwest of Thedford to near
Tryon. Movement was east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Ainsworth, Mullen, Stapleton, Springview, Thedford, Brewster, Tryon,
Arnold, Long Pine, Anselmo, Dunning, Halsey, Johnstown, Seneca,
Gandy, Brownlee, Merritt Reservoir, Valentine National Wildlife
Refuge, Ringgold, and Elsmere.

This includes the following highways...
 Highway 183 between mile markers 194 and 214.
 Highway 20 between mile markers 202 and 251.
 Highway 2 between mile markers 181 and 260.
 Highway 92 between mile markers 188 and 259.
 Highway 97 between mile markers 17 and 90, and between mile markers
95 and 136.
 Highway 83 between mile markers 105 and 207.
 Highway 12 between mile markers 39 and 51.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in North Platte.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 600 AM CDT/500 AM
MDT/ for southwestern, north central and west central Nebraska.
