...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 815 PM CDT
FOR NORTHERN CHERRY COUNTY...

At 741 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles southeast of
Lacreek Wildlife Refuge, or 18 miles southeast of Martin, moving
southeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
         considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
         mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Cody, Merriman, Kilgore, Nenzel, Medicine Lake, Merritt Reservoir,
Eli, Steer Creek Campground, Schoolhouse Lake, Cody Lake, Anderson
Bridge State Wildlife Management Area, Highway 61 Crossing The
Niobrara River, and Indian Hill.

This includes the following highways...
 Highway 20 between mile markers 132 and 177.
 Highway 61 between mile markers 216 and 231.
 Highway 97 between mile markers 116 and 129.
