...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT RAPIDES...AVOYELLES AND
NORTHEASTERN VERNON PARISHES THROUGH 1100 PM CDT...
At 1008 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Kurthwood to near Gardner to near Lake
Ophelia National Wildlife Refuge. Movement was south at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Alexandria, Pineville, Marksville, Bunkie, Simmesport, Glenmora,
Boyce, Moreauville, Cheneyville, Hineston, Lena, Fort Johnson,
Bordelonville, Alexandria International Airport, Slagle, Effie, Ball,
Cottonport, Colfax, and Mansura.
This includes Interstate 49 between mile markers 56 and 109.
