A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas...
  Coastal Waters from Port Fourchon LA to Lower Atchafalaya River LA
  out 20 nm...

At 404 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a cluster of strong
thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This
cluster of thunderstorms is generally located near Point Au Fer
Island, moving southeast at 10 knots.

Mariners can expect widespread gusty winds to around 30 knots, higher
waves, and dangerous lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe
harbor immediately until this activity passes.
