...A CLUSTER OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE WATERS...

  Coastal Waters from Port Fourchon LA to Lower Atchafalaya River LA
  out 20 nm...
  Coastal waters from Port Fourchon Louisiana to Lower Atchafalaya
  River LA from 20 to 60 NM...

At 618 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a cluster of strong
thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and weak
waterspouts. This cluster of thunderstorms is generally located 13 nm
southwest of Caillou Bay, moving southeast at 30 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect widespread gusty winds to around 30 knots, higher
waves and dangerous lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe
harbor immediately until this activity passes.

Brief, weak waterspouts are possible with this activity. Remain on
alert in case warnings are issued for waterspout development.
