.SYNOPSIS...High Pressure building in from the Pacific will
deliver quiet conditions, light winds, and slowly warming
temperatures through the end of the week.

&&

.SHORT TERM...Today and Monday

High Pressure continues to build in over the state leading to
quiet weather to start the week. Dry northerly flow aloft will
bring a few passing clouds and slowly warming, yet seasonable to
slightly above average temperatures with cool calm mornings.
Temperatures through Tuesday morning look to be in the mid 70s to
mid 80s for highs, and overnight lows falling into the mid 30s to
upper 40s. Winds will light, and generally out of the north at 5
MPH to 15 MPH with a few gusts up to 25 MPH.

.LONG TERM...Tuesday through next Sunday.

High pressure dominates the first half of the week, with a weak
trough behind it bringing some breezy winds on Wednesday in the
15-20 mph range. Flow then shifts to nearly zonal, allowing a
quiet end to the week. High temperatures each afternoon will be in
the 70s on Tuesday, warming into the 70s and 80s by Wednesday and
lasting through the week. Overnight lows will cool into the 40s
for the most part.

&&

.AVIATION...VFR conditions continue at all TAF sites through the
next 24 hour period with generally light winds expected.

&&

.FIRE WEATHER...A quiet, tranquil pattern continues with high
pressure building in from the Pacific. Light northerly winds at 5
MPH to 15 MPH with gusts up to 25 MPH and partly cloudy skies
through Tuesday. This quiet pattern continues as high pressure
becomes centered over Nevada Wednesday which will further decrease
clouds and winds. As this ridge shifts east Thursday bringing NV
under SW flow aloft, continued partly cloudy to mostly clear
skies, and light southwest winds of 5 MPH to 15 MPH with a few
gusts up to 25 MPH possible.
