FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

Low pressure around 29.7 inches has lifted into Ontario. A
trailing cold front will push southeastward across Lake Michigan
this morning into this afternoon, with widespread showers and
thunderstorms ahead of and along this front. Southwesterly winds
will become northerly behind the front this afternoon into
tonight. Winds are expected to become gusty, with gusts up to 30
knots expected and an occasional gale force gust possible. The
potential for gale force gusts is higher in the southern half. Winds
diminish into Monday as high pressure builds in across the Great
Lakes region, but the northerly component will persist through
Tuesday.

25 kt late this morning, then becoming north early this afternoon
increasing to 30 kt late. Showers with a chance of thunderstorms.
Waves 1 to 2 ft building to 5 to 8 ft occasionally to 10 ft.
.TONIGHT...North winds to 30 kt diminishing to 15 to 25 kt.
Slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the evening. Waves
6 to 9 ft occasionally to 12 ft.
.MONDAY...Northeast winds 10 to 20 kt. Waves 4 to 7 ft
occasionally to 9 ft subsiding to 3 to 5 ft.
.MONDAY NIGHT...Northeast winds 10 to 20 kt becoming east 10 to
15 kt. Waves 3 to 5 ft subsiding to 2 to 4 ft.
.TUESDAY...East winds 10 to 15 kt becoming northeast. Chance of
showers in the afternoon. Waves 1 to 3 ft.

chance of thunderstorms. Waves 1 to 3 ft building to 4 to 7 ft
occasionally to 9 ft.
.TONIGHT...North winds to 30 kt diminishing to 15 to 25 kt.
Chance of showers and slight chance of thunderstorms in the
evening. Waves 7 to 10 ft occasionally to 13 ft.
.MONDAY...Northeast winds 15 to 25 kt becoming north 10 to 20 kt.
Waves 6 to 9 ft occasionally to 12 ft subsiding to 3 to 5 ft.
