...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL MEADE AND
NORTHEASTERN BRECKINRIDGE COUNTIES THROUGH 845 AM EDT/745 AM CDT/...
At 809 AM EDT/709 AM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong
thunderstorm 8 miles northeast of Hardinsburg, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Webster, Irvington, Ekron, Maples Corner, Guston, Mystic, Raymond,
Sample, High Plains Corner, and Clifton Mills.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
