...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN KENDALL...WESTERN
WILL AND NORTHEASTERN GRUNDY COUNTIES THROUGH 930 AM CDT...

At 858 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Minooka, moving east at 50 mph. A personal weather station in Morris
recorded a wind gust of 46 mph at 850 AM.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Joliet, Bolingbrook, Orland Park, Romeoville, Plainfield, Woodridge,
Lockport, New Lenox, Homer Glen, Mokena, Frankfort, Morris,
Channahon, Minooka, Wilmington, Coal City, Crest Hill, Shorewood,
Manhattan, Ingalls Park, Elwood, Preston Heights, Fairmont, Rockdale,
and Crystal Lawns.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 AM CDT for
northeastern Illinois.
