...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 500 AM CDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN IROQUOIS COUNTY...
At 409 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Milford, moving
southeast at 20 mph.
THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR SOUTHERN IROQUOIS COUNTY!!
HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts and two inch hail.
SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. A measured 78 mph wind gust was
measured with this storm between Onarga and Crescent City.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect
considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles.
Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely.
Locations impacted include...
Watseka, Milford, Cissna Park, Stockland, Woodland, Wellington, and
Claytonville.
