...Discussion from Monterey...

Good humidity recoveries are being seen this morning with modest
humidity retention this afternoon as a trough of low pressure
remains off of the West Coast and the marine layer deepens.
Temperatures this afternoon will be below seasonal averages. A
gradual warming and drying trend will then resume Thursday and even
more so on Friday as temperatures warm to above seasonal averages.
This will bring humidity values into the teens and twenties in the
higher elevations on Friday afternoon. ERC forecasts are increasing
over the next week, but should still remain below critical levels
on Friday as well.

Note : All winds are 20-foot Winds Unless otherwise specified.
Thunderstorms imply strong, gusty and erratic winds.

...Discussion from Los Angeles/Oxnard...

...WARM AND DRY CONDITIONS AWAY FROM THE COAST THROUGH THE WEEKEND...

Near normal temperatures with a fairly benign pattern will continue
through the week, with highs between 80 and 90 common inland of the
coast, and 90 to 100 over the interior. Humidity levels will fall
between 10 and 20 percent over the interior valleys and mountains as
well as the warmest coastal valleys each day, with mixing heights
between 8,000 to 12,000 feet. Southeast winds gusts of 20 to 30 mph
will affect some mountain areas today, with locally elevated fire
weather conditions. Northwest Sundowner wind gusts of 25 to 35 mph
will form for the next two evenings, but humidities should stay
above 30 percent. Otherwise, weaker than normal diurnal winds
expected today, with more typical winds for follow through the
week. The marine layer continue to moderate coastal and valley
areas. Potentially significant drying possible next week.
