...EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING IN EFFECT FOR THE VALLEYS...

.DISCUSSION...Skies will be mostly clear across the county
each afternoon and evening, with the exception of the immediate
coastal areas (Oxnard, Ventura, Channel Islands), where there
will be a chance of low clouds and fog returning between
6 and 10 pm each day. The marine layer depth is expected to
be fairly shallow each day, around 1000 feet. There will be
a large temperature gradient across the county with mild
temperatures near the coast, and hot temperatures across the
valleys where an excessive heat warning is in effect. Typical
diurnal winds expected for all areas within the county.

                    a 60 percent chance of low clouds and
                    fog near the coast between 6 and 10 pm (impacting
                    Oxnard, Ventura, Channel Islands). Areas near
                    Camarillo expected to remain clear through
                    the evening hours.
Temperature.........Max 72-75 near the coast to 82 in Camarillo.
                    Temperatures falling to 69-73 by 9 pm.
Humidity............Min 45-60 percent. rising to 70-90 percent
