For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 29.9 inch ridge over the Upper Great Lakes tonight
will shift southeast, reaching the Appalachians Tuesday while
building to 30.0 inches. Meanwhile, a 29.3 inch low over northwest
Ontario will spin east across northern Ontario and reach James
Bay on Tuesday at 29.2 inches. This low will support 29.5 inch
troughing across Lake Superior later tonight and Tuesday. Behind
the trough, 29.9 inch high pressure from the High Plains will
extend into the Upper Great Lakes Wednesday. This high anchors and
builds to 30.0 inches Thursday morning over the Upper Great
Lakes. A 29.4 inch low then tracks across central Minnesota Friday
enabling troughing at 29.6 inches over much of Lake Superior
Friday afternoon. The low fills and reaches eastern Lake Superior
at 29.6 on early Saturday morning. High pressure ridging at 29.9
inches shifts over the Upper Great Lakes Saturday afternoon.
