Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS...High pressure at 30.3 inches remains anchored offshore of New England, extending 30.0 inch ridging across the Great Lakes through Wednesday. Meanwhile, a 29.8 inch low drifts northeast across northern Ontario on Tuesday, reaching northern Quebec by Wednesday morning. At the same time, a 29.4 inch trough emerges from the western Plains on Tuesday. Low pressure of 29.3 inches developing along this trough Tuesday night and Wednesday will lift into Saskatchewan Wednesday night. As the low drifts northeast to Manitoba on Thursday, an associated 29.7 inch trough will progress across the Dakotas. As the low continues to track northeast to Hudson Bay on Friday, the associated trough will reach western Lake Superior and then dissipate. Meanwhile, weak 29.9 to 30.0 inch ridging extends from northern Quebec into the Great Lakes region on Thursday and Friday. High pressure ridging looks to rise to 30.1 inches over the Great Lakes on Saturday.
