Hot and humid conditions are expected to lead to heat index values in excess of 105 degrees in portions of central Missouri today. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday. Hot and humid conditions will expand across east central and southeast Missouri into southwest Illinois on Tuesday. This will produce heat index values in excess of 105 degrees. Thunderstorms are expected Tuesday night into early Wednesday along a cold front. Some of these storms may be strong to severe with the main threat being damaging winds.
