Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the region
over the next several days.

Low pressure will weaken over the southern Appalachians today
while a second low develops east of Hampton Roads. Showers and
isolated thunderstorms will remain possible until the offshore low
drifts farther east late Thursday. High pressure may build in from
the north on Friday. A backdoor cold front may push into the area
Saturday.
