Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
230 AM CDT Mon Jun 17 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Localized elevated to near critical fire weather conditions will be
seen mainly over SE NM today and tomorrow as critical RHs and the
threat for lightning starts via isolated thunderstorms will be
present. Lack of wind in those areas will limit fire spread/growth.
Significant moisture returns and the possibility for wetting rains
begins Wednesday and continues into the coming weekend.

Matrix product issued by the Midland/Odessa National Weather
Service Office.
