This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Atlantic coastal waters, southeast Florida, southern Florida, southwest Florida and Gulf of Mexico. .DAY ONE...Today and tonight. Thunderstorms: Scattered thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and evening. The strongest thunderstorms could contain heavy downpours, lightning strikes, and gusty winds. Rip Currents: There is a moderate risk for rip currents along the Palm Beaches. Coastal Flooding: Minor coastal flooding associated with enhanced astronomical tides (king tides) will continue to be possible during high tide. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday. Scattered thunderstorms will be possible daily, with primary threats of gusty winds, frequent lightning, and heavy downpours. Minor coastal flooding will be possible during high tide cycles during the early portion of the week with king tides. A risk of rip currents is likely to increase to high on Tuesday across all Atlantic Coast beaches as easterly flow increases and will remain at high risk through a majority of the week. Keeping an eye on the tropics for the latter half of the week as the National Hurricane Center monitors a disturbance in the Central/Western Caribbean Sea. There is still uncertainty on what, if any, impacts there may be to South Florida. This will continue to be monitored as the week progresses. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
