...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE SOUTHERN LAKE OKKECHOBEE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  Southern Lake Okeechobee...

At 326 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from near Sand Cut to near Moore
Haven. The thunderstorms were moving slowly to the south southwest.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, lightning strikes, and heavy downpours. Boaters should seek
safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.

Report severe weather to the coast guard or nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
forecast office.

Waterspouts are possible with this activity. Remain on the alert in
case warnings are issued for waterspout development.
