The areas affected include... Coastal waters from Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach FL out 20 NM... Waters from Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach FL from 20 to 60 NM... At 1031 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located 17 nm east of Palm Beach Shores, moving southwest at 10 knots. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Intense lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded metal objects. Waterspouts are possible with this activity.
