  NM...
  Waters from Deerfield Beach to Ocean Reef FL from 20 to 60 NM
  excluding the territorial waters of Bahamas...
  Waters from Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach FL from 20 to 60 NM...

* Until 530 PM EDT.

* At 356 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing
  waterspouts was located near Surfside, moving east at 10 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts 34 knots or greater, and small
           hail.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Ocean Ridge, Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, Card Sound, Key Biscayne,
  Hallandale, Biscayne Bay, Lighthouse Point, Jupiter Inlet Colony,
  Black Point, Juno Beach, Palm Beach Shores, Bay Harbor Islands,
  Port Everglades, Highland Beach, Elliott Key, Triumph Reef, Golden
  Beach, Surfside, Coral Gables, and Briny Breezes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily
overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harbor
immediately.

Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
