The National Weather Service in Miami has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Coastal waters from West Palm Beach to Baco Raton FL out 10
  NM...

* Until 645 PM EDT.

* At 606 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Delray Beach,
  moving south southeast at 5 to 10 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and small hail.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Ocean Ridge, Delray Beach, Hypoluxo, Highland Beach, Manalapan,
  Briny Breezes, Gulf Stream, and Boca Raton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily
overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harbor
immediately.

Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
